Boditrax Score

What is it?

The boditrax health score is a unique assessment of the body based on a review of 10 key metrics and assessed against a database of over eight million other humans.

Over time, as changes are made to body composition and the ratio of muscle and fluid to fat are combined with improvements to metabolic efficiency and cellular integrity, these factors will improve the score. Think of it like a credit check on the body and use boditrax to assess the current status and where improvements can be made to the boost the score.

The score is between a low of 1 and a high of 1000 and an improving score indicates an improving body composition and metabolism.

Each metric is assessed against the boditrax database, our knowledge bank and other factors such as age, sex at birth and any level of improvement. There will be a new score every time a metric changes and this can lead to either an improvement or reduction in the score.

Why is it important?

The boditrax health score can be considered a summary of the user’s status and progress toward their goals.

It is important to consider the overall picture and avoid focusing on a single metric such as only muscle or fat mass for example.

The boditrax health score takes account of the overall health picture and gives ‘credit’ where credit is due.

The boditrax health score allows careful and accurate monitoring over time and lets the subject understand their score in both more detail and as a single, overall metric.

Any recommendations?

Remember it is a test, not a verdict and the test is retaken at every scan.

Changes between tests can be caused by (but are not limited to), injury, illness or medical condition, excessive alcohol, smoking or drug misuse, changes to diet, menstrual cycle (where applicable) and other factors such as stress and lack of sleep or changes in time zone, etc.

Long term health outcomes are dependent on a number of factors. Try to avoid temporary diets and exercise regimes as their impact can be short term and misleading.

A long-term focus on eating a balanced diet with a good mix of proteins, healthy fats and carbohydrates combined with consistent hydration and exercise will lead to improvements in the boditrax health score. We are all unique but with very few exceptions we operate in surprisingly similar way and respond to the same stimulants.
